Carefully blending psychedelic inspired modern indie rock with the melodic and textural fusion of the Indian sitar, Shock Tea, based out of Atlanta, offers a refreshing musical experience reminiscent of the rock, pop, and blues of the 60’s and 70’s while speaking to modern indie rock sensibilities.

Formed in late 2022, the band comprises Andrew Pangus on bass, bringing his punk and alternative roots; Quaid Patterson on guitar, with a rich blues background; and Avery Andrews, a skilled jazz drummer. Fronting the band is Nik Howlett providing the vocals, keyboard, and the distinctive tones of the sitar.
