Aaron Rizzo
Much of Rizzo’s influence comes not from guitar players, but drummers. As a rhythmically based player, he has drawn inspiration from the likes of Steve Jordan, Nate Smith, Carter Mclean and many others. This has afforded him a distinct perspective on his primary instrument – guitar. It also acts as a bridge between his guitar playing and the rhythm section, making groove the focal point of many of his performances. Historically, Aaron Rizzo has covered a fair amount of ground in his recorded music. Especially as a producer, an obsession with exploring new sounds has always been a cornerstone of his albums.
